Auckland Youth Symphonic Band and Auckland Wind Orchestra are two community concert bands based in Freeman's Bay, Auckland Central, who each rehearse weekly and perform at various events throughout Auckland and Aotearoa New Zealand, both separately and in collaboration with each other.

The AYSB is made up of people from year 7 (about age 12) through to university, while the AWO is made up of people of all ages who enjoy more challenging music.

As schools aren't always able to offer concert band programmes for wind, brass, and percussion students, the AYSB aims to fill this gap and provide a concert band for Central Auckland youth.  The band comprises students from various schools across Auckland and rehearses weekly during the school term.

The Auckland Wind Orchestra typically plays more demanding music, is open to all players in the community, and is always looking for new members to join the band.
